Forehead Lift and Brow Lift
Forehead lifts are used when there is a sagging eyebrow or deep furrows between the eyes. A forehead or brow lift tightens loose skin and in some cases, removes the excess, and forehead wrinkling and drooping brows can be modified. When necessary, part of the muscle that causes vertical frown lines between the brows is also removed. There are two basic techniques that we use in brow-lifting; the trans-palpebral (upper eyelid) forehead lift or the endoscopic forehead lift. The overall result of eyelid rejuvenation is a subtle but remarkable change that produces a more youthful and less tired appearance.

Preparing for Your Surgery
While you’re making preparations, be sure to arrange for someone to drive you home after your surgery, and to help you out for a few days if needed.
Where Your Surgery Will Be Performed
Your surgery will be performed in our surgeon’s office-based outpatient surgical facility. An anesthesiologist will be present to monitor you throughout surgery with all the state-of-the-art equipment necessary for your procedure.
Types of Anesthesia
You’ll be awake during the surgery, but relaxed and insensitive to pain. Some patients prefer to use general anesthesia; in that case if plausible, you’ll sleep through the operation.
Getting Back to Normal
Most people feel ready to go out in public (and back to work) in a week to 10 days. Keep your activities to a minimum for three to five days, and to avoid more strenuous activities for about three weeks. It’s especially important to avoid activities that raise your blood pressure, including bending, lifting, and rigorous sports. Try to avoid alcohol, since it causes fluid retention.
